Microsoft give update on Xbox One Backward Compatibility games for January release
This could mean January backwards compatible games for Xbox One are just around the corner. They are waiting until the feature is flawless and up to standard with their customers. And that’s background music play.
You can have music playback via the Groove app while you’re playing a game, but only when it’s snapped, which is very irritating if you want the fullscreen game experience. In light of the delay, many are ready to raise their pitchforks on social media. In a recent statement following the release of the latest NPD Report from Geek Wire, Corporate Vice President of Xbox Marketing Mike Nichols promised another great year saying, “2015 was a tremendous year for gamers, and we’re looking forward to making 2016 an even better one”.
In spite of the disgruntled users, the feature won’t roll for a few more months.
It seems as if Black Ops 1 for Xbox One backwards compatibility is top of the list, so hopefully that will be coming in the next update since it has already been confirmed as on the way from Activision.
It’s strangely curious as to why the feature is taking this long to be released.
He said the team wanted to release the feature “in a special way that surprises fans”, as opposed to simply adding a basic music player.
This shouldn’t be a low-priority thing either, the Xbox Feedback site now has over 22,000 votes for it and it would certainly make plenty of fans happy.
To complement its beat ’em up style gameplay, “Zheros” takes players to a sci-fi setting not found in many other titles belonging to the same game genre.
