Microsoft Launches Xbox One S Minecraft Favorites Bundle
Keeping up with the tradition of giving players more choice and value in their purchase, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has revealed a brand new Minecraft bundle for Xbox One S this week.
Minecraft’s Windows 10 port appears to be a particular focus for Microsoft, as digital codes for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 editions are included as part of the bundle. The constantly-evolving game, coupled with a number of various texture packs that give you everything from Skyrim to Mass Effect to Halo, has remained fairly popular, to the point where a retail release of the game and some of its best DLC came out several months ago.
People who buy the Favorites Bundle also get a free download code for Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition’s beta, as well as a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial membership. The bundle also includes the Builder’s Pack, which collects six add-ons including the Biome Settlers and Greek Mythology Mash-up packs. The new 500 GB Xbox One S Minecraft Favorites bundle is available now in the US for the price of $299, and will be released to other markets soon. Xbox One Edition is officially getting its own Xbox One bundle, and, best of all, its available today in the United States and Canada. The bundle will be available in the UK, Western Europe, and Central Europe on October 11, and on November 11 in Australia and New Zealand. You can transfer them over to the Xbox One Edition and build new ones that are up to 16 times bigger. In all, you’re getting more than 230 character skins. A release date hasn’t been set for Asian and Latin American markets.
