Microsoft Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL India launch expected on November 30!
Dan Seifert of The Verge criticized the new Windows 10 operating system.
Windows users seem to be experiencing an issue with enabling BitLocker hardware encryption after updating to their system to November update, which Microsoft is calling its major update to Windows 10 that brings version 1511, build 10586. However, rear camera of Lumia 950 XL has an extra feature of triple LED flash.
Windows 10 was released at the end of July, and Microsoft claimed it had been downloaded 14 million times in the first 24 hours.
Microsoft has not revealed the price of the Lumia 950 or the Lumia 950 XL in India, which means customers will have to wait until November 30 to find the exact price of the new Lumia phones. For a few good quarters in a row, reports from market research firms have shown that the the global tablet market is shrinking faced with the growing popularity of large-screen smartphones (many call them phablets).
That’s surely music to the ears of Microsoft, which has declared a goal of getting Windows 10 on one billion devices within two-to-three years. With the feature enabled, these Lumia phones will launch desktop-like versions of Windows 10 apps, not the stripped-down software often found on a mobile device.
Lumia 950 is priced in USA at $549 which is almost Rs 35,800 in India.
Either way, the change isn’t likely to affect all that many people as most will simply opt to have Windows Update do the work as the rollout progresses. Indeed, the deals being offered are only accessible through the Windows Store on a Windows 10 PC.
Likewise, the Windows Hello feature is a fascinating alternative to fingerprint sensors as a security technology since the front camera of the Lumia 950 only has to scan an individual’s eyes before granting permission to a user. This phone is powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.
Whereas, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL boasts a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels.
