Microsoft may come up with Surface Cloud

So what is Windows Cloud? That was a watered-down version of Windows 8 that didn’t really catch on but rather caused confusion and disappointment more than anything else.

The Microsoft “Surface Phone” has been one of the most intriguing smartphone devices, since the company announced its possibility a year ago.

So without rehashing all of the dirty details of the plight of Windows 10 Mobile, what would you do to fix the situation?

What type of apps can it run?

The creativity and learning event by Microsoft, called the Microsoft Education, beginning on May 2 this year, is bound to come with certain surprises. This means that right away, any app can take advantage of the new tabbing experience without any developer work. It turned out to be a major flop because it could offer a desktop mode and some Windows utilities, but could not run traditional desktop apps which severely limited its performance. Any UWP, Win32 or Centennial app will work. Microsoft to roll out the Windows 10 Creators Update to only 11 eligible mobile devices.

Microsoft mentioned that they will be rolling out Windows 10 Creators updates for PC. Even a trial test at Xiaomi that allowed users to install Windows on their Android phones. There are many solutions that exist out there to add tabbed browsing to Windows, so a built-in solution will negate the need for that additional software to be installed.

Windows Cloud vs. Chrome OS?

The most used PC Operating System is still the Windows OS.

When the service stopped working, there was a considerable outrage for fans of the platform, since using the Windows Device Recovery Tool to restore a handset brings them back to Windows Phone 8.1, meaning that users have to initiate the upgrade process all over again.

Windows 10 Cloud is a version of Windows 10 that is lightweight and a little restrictive, but it’s ideal in terms of cost because Microsoft intends to license it to device manufacturers at a much lower price than a full Windows 10 OEM license.

This will not be the first time that Microsoft tries to take on Google and its Chromebook range. Windows Cloud, of course, let’s you upgrade whenever you want, but at a price that’s now unknown.

When can I try it out?

Other features rumored for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 include a longer battery life, a USB Type-C port support, as well as a rechargeable Surface Pen.
