Microsoft Releases New Subtle Update for Windows 10 Photos App
The site now claims Microsoft has introduced a number of these features to its previous two operating systems, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
“If these updates are installed on the system, data is sent to Microsoft regularly about various activities on it”, gHacks reports. Windows 10 Home users will not get this option. Windows 7 and 8 users may feel somewhat alarmed at this discovery but there is a way to remove the service once it is installed. With the patch, Microsoft is finally giving Windows 10 Home edition users the ability to disable or delay automatic app updates through the Windows Store.
This can stop the update being returned within PC search results and will avoid any accidental installations.
As usual, Microsoft hasn’t commented on the possibility of adding transparency to Start menu/Start screen live tiles, but with new updates being released on a regular basis, more such tweaks could be implemented at any given moment.
Microsoft Corp., which is best known for making software for personal computers, is hoping Windows 10 will help it rebuild loyalty among users who are increasingly relying on tablets, smartphones and other devices.
The Cumulative Update for Windows 10 looks like it is aimed at those who have already managed to complete the upgrade, but are having issues with the operating system itself.
Microsoft only lets Windows 10 users choose when to reboot, but update and install part will happen at the Windows Update end.
Updates for Windows 10 apps are released quite often these days, as Microsoft is working at full speed on its Windows as a Service strategy, so every time you launch the store, there might be a new version of Redmond’s software waiting for you to download. That policy still remains in place, much to the frustration of some users who would prefer to have more control over which updates are installed and when.
The new addition went largely unnoticed, because as you may remember, the company has stopped detailing the new changes in most of its Windows updates. Are you still experiencing problems and issues with Windows 10, or has your situation improved?
