Microsoft Surface Phone Rumored to Launch in Q2 2016
Microsoft Lumia 650 is going to be an interesting device but a recent leak is getting our hopes down. The handset in question is the Lumia Phone X, and was briefly seen online, and then quickly disappeared again. The company made a similar offer previous year to purchasers of its Lumia 640 and 640 XL phones. With 9.4-mm thickness and 152 grams as the weight, Lumia 540 is neither sleek to hold nor light to handle.
During our brief time with the phone, the camera managed to take same crisp detailed images.
The Lumia 650 will come with a 5 inch display with a High Definition resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor.
The latest reports suggest that Windows 10 Mobile won’t become available to Windows Phone 8 devices until the end of February.
A major Windows 10 update is expected to arrive in the next few months, but it may not be as chock full of features as some users might have hoped.
While the Redmond, Washington-based company has yet to officially announce or recognize rumors surrounding the Surface Phone, the device is said to be aimed at the business sector and is geared towards improving dismal smartphone sales. While Microsoft later edited the description to remove the reference to the Lumia X (which is the first sign that it is a legitimate phone), we have the unedited version of the description in the slideshow. As it stands, at the very minimum, a smartphone would need at least a Snapdragon 617, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, and a 720p screen to be eligible.
Looks like Microsoft is working on a new Lumia handset.
For Windows Phone fans waiting patiently for a Windows 10 Mobile upgrade, this latest news will come as a disappointment. There are talks that Microsoft is planning a new type of Smartphone, the Surface Phone.
