Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher refuse to raise brats
Mila Kunis has revealed that instead of wearing her expensive engagement ring that she was given by her husband Ashton Kutcher, she keeps it in a safety deposit box.
During an interview with the Australian morning radio show, Kyle & Jackie O, Kunis revealed that not only does she not wear her engagement ring, a classic, prong-set round-cut diamond from Tiffany and Co.
In the photo, Kutcher and Kunis, 32, show off their navy blue blazers, identical to the ones the real Rio athletes wore during the opening ceremonies, with the letters “USA” emblazoned on the back. Should she and Ashton give their kids money or make them work for it? “Nothing’s been handed to us”, she said.
The 32-year-old added that while she purchased the cheaper wedding bands on Etsy, she didn’t want to detract from the “incredibly attractive engagement ring” picked out by her husband.
“It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor, ‘” she explained. “‘You are very poor. They came to America [from Ukraine] with suitcases and a family of seven and $250, and that’s it”, Kunis had recalled in the August issue of Glamour. “Mommy and Daddy have a bank account'”.
For this, I commend Kunis.
But one distinction will be made clear: the parents are rich. By the time I was 14, I was watching them alone and cleaning her house for the bargain price of $10/hour – while also working at my mom’s store three days a week.
“And so I always say after the second one, we’ll know if we need to have another one”, she continued.
