Miller doesn’t believe Broncos team-mate Manning will retire

The truth of the matter is we’ve got two losses.

Denver’s Brandon Marshall says Manning deserves all the credit in the world for his role on the Super Bowl-champion Broncos roster.

“I’ve been on record saying I’m a sore loser, who likes to lose?” Linebacker Von Miller, the Super Bowl’s Most Valuable Player, also was in the lead truck, as was the Lombardi Trophy, awarded annually to the National Football League champions.

I doubt it, but Newton – in my opinion – has too many “me moments” and forgets this isn’t about him. This league is a great league with or without me, I understand that.

“To me, to sit here and say, if you look at it, if you look at the performance in that Super Bowl, they are in the argument to be one of the best ever”.

“I am who I am”.

“[Manning] didn’t have to go out there and do it all on his own, and he knew that”. “You say my effort”. You’re really probably the second-best team out of 32 that year, but you come away from that game and feel like you’re 32nd instead of second. But Tuesday, Newton stopped to talk with the media while cleaning out his locker at Bank of America Stadium. “I’d much rather have a guy who hates to lose then a guy who accepts it. A guy who accepts it you might as well push him out of your locker room because you don’t want him around”.

Ron Rivera, the Panthers head coach, took a different line, although he did not condemn his quarterback. “It’s not a popularity contest”.

Newton addressed people who criticized his “lack of effort” to recover a fumble late in the fourth quarter. Cam stated that “since you want to go tit for tat”, there have been other Super Bowl quarterbacks who have made similar mistakes during the game.

“He wants to win and his teammates know it”, Rivera continued. I’m glad he left in a childish manner, regardless of whether it was because of a tough question or him overhearing Broncos cornerback Chris Harris talking about how Denver wanted to make him throw the ball to beat them.

The Broncos didn’t just dominate the Super Bowl, they pretty much dominated every team they played all season. I think everyone on our team is not happy, so why should we be all smiles after?
