Songstress Holly Brewer – who performed at the ceremony in May – may have been given her big break, as she sets her eyes on the TV talent show.

So we would imagine that when we see Holly Brewer trying out for the judges this year, given she was the singer at the wedding of former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright and ex-Corrie actress Michelle Keegan, those objections will once again be raised.

A number of potential X Factor contestants have revealed their shock this year at being turned away from bootcamp, despite getting a yes from judges Simon Cowell, Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw.

“She has got pure talent, works really hard and I’m sure she will do unbelievable things in the future”.

Hopefully Holly wasn’t one of those who didn’t make it through, because her voice is just handsome…

But it is not yet known whether the singer and pianist reached the bootcamp stage of the competition after reports that hopefuls were surprised by an extra round of auditions. However, towards the end of last week, it was reported that some wannabes have been left outraged after claiming they were misled about who was in fact through to the next stage of the show.

He told us: “I felt crushed, used and very raging as I came to London with only a 1 way ticket!”

An X Factor spokeswoman has explained that the decision to cut contestants before bootcamp was “kinder and fairer” than an immediately “cull” on arrival, and insisted all hopefuls were contacted and told not to book travel until they were informed whether their place was secure.

“All singers have been made aware of this and are being told this weekend whether or not they will be going through to Bootcamp, after the judges have reviewed their auditions”.
