Minneapolis fire chief to visit protest encampment
The chief alerted the news media to the discussion, but news reporters and photographers were blocked from covering the meeting with Black Lives Matter activists.
Prosecutors must decide by noon on Monday whether to charge four men held by Minneapolis police in connection with the November 23 wounding of five people protesting the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man.
The shooting took place near a police precinct where demonstrations were taking place.
Hundreds of people marched through downtown Seattle streets and shops as part of a Black Lives Matter protest on Black Friday.
No one was hurt during the two hour protest.

Officials with the Minneapolis Fire Department say they met with Black Lives Matter protesters Sunday afternoon to talk about safety conditions at the 4th Precinct encampment. The protestors gathered at Westlake Park around 1:30 p.m., before beginning their march along the Downtown streets surrounding the central shopping district.
