Minnesota cop who killed Castile says he reacted to ‘display’ gun
As previously reported, on Thursday, July 7, a gunman opened fire during what police described as a peaceful protest organized in the wake of the deaths of Sterling and Minnesota man Philando Castile.

St. Anthony Police Officer Jeronimo Yanez shot Philando Castile on Wednesday during a traffic stop in the Minneapolis suburb of Falcon Heights.
