Miracle Treat Day coming up on Thursday
If you’re looking for an excuse for ice cream this week, make plans for Thursday and help a local children’s hospital. Construction on the region’s first, comprehensive children’s hospital is set to begin in September on the Memorial Hospital North campus in Colorado Springs.
Miracle Treat Day started several years ago and has grown over the years to be one of Dairy Queen’s biggest and most popular days of the year, raising close to $18,000 last year.
The goal is to help make miracles happen for hospitalized children during DQ®’s 11th annual Miracle Treat Day, when $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations will be donated to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals).
“These donations stay local and help kids in your area get better”, added Cantrell.
The Dairy Queen system will be creating a “Blizzard of Miracles” today, July 28, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. On Thursday, Dairy Queen is teaming up with CMN. Over 200 Dairy Queen locations in and around in, including Batesville, will participate. For more information or to pre-order Blizzards, contact the local Dairy Queen by phone at 706-629-9522.
