Miranda Lambert’s Saddledome concert cancelled
MIranda Lambert’s suffering from “serious inflammation of her vocal chords”- unfortunately, that means she’ll have to cancel a huge show at the Calgary Stampede.
The “Little Red Wagon” singer was scheduled to perform at the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on Thursday, July 9. They can also be used for a free admission into Stampede Park until Sunday.
Lambert isn’t the only singer to have to cancel concert dates due to vocal cord issues.
After the news broke, Lambert, 31, took to Twitter to thank her fans for their messages of support.
The news, while disappointing, was received with understanding by most fans who commented beneath the Calgary Stampede announcement on Facebook.
“I can’t believe this is happening”. “Ticket holders should retain their ticket for the rescheduled concert, and should continue to check the Stampede’s and Ticketmaster’s websites for rescheduling updates”.
The concert is due to be rescheduled, though no postponed date has yet to be announced.
“I promise that I will make it up to my Megatronz”, Trainor added.
The decision came quickly; a Tuesday afternoon post on her Facebook page urged fans to share “All Kinds of Kinds” photos for a chance to have them on the concert screens. Plus, according to The Boot, Blake Shelton (Miranda Lambert’s husband, in case you didn’t know) will be performing at the Calgary Stampede on Friday, July 10.
