Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Collector’s Edition is beautiful and expensive | Nerd
The limited edition collection features a variety of collectables, highlighted by a 14-inch statue of series protagonist Faith, with one side featuring a full grown Faith and the other side, depicting her as a child.
For our faithful fans and new ones alike, we are pleased to unveil the Mirror’s Edge Catalyst Collector’s Edition.
Fortunately, as evidenced by our E3 2015 hands-on preview of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, the game’s refined parkour mechanics and its Frostbite 3 engine-powered graphics should help the title handily do its precursor justice.
Available for $199.99, the special edition also packs in an exclusive lithograph, 10 “concept piece” cards, a collectible SteelBook and temporary tattoos which EA says will let players “join Faith’s fight”. For those who have Xbox One controllers will not have to press the right trigger and instead each combat action is done by pressing the X button when they are at the proximity range of their target. The game will be more focused on Faith than the previous game and will show her during different parts of her life. It’s out on PC, Plays…hang on, feeling a bit sick here after that massive run in the first game. It was previously reported that “Mirror’s Edge Catalyst” will likely have a mulitplayer gameplay as DICE descirbed it has having an “asynchronous” connection. Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will release February 23, 2016 (February 25 in Europe).
