Mirror’s Edge Catalyst – New Gameplay Teaser

Despite the brief length of the clip, which comes in at a running time of a mere 23 seconds, the world of Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst really feels alive and breathing. It should also be noted that this trailer “features pre-alpha footage from a cut-down version of a full mission in the game”.

EA Digital Illusions CE and Electronic Arts have released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming action adventure video game, “Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst“. The press conference kicks off at 9:30 CEST, 8:30 BST, 3:30 EDT and 12:30 PDT.

Sarah Jansson, producer of the game at EA, said, “Faith is unique because she doesn’t need guns or super powers”.

“At its core, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is about putting you in the shoes of a Runner and letting you live Faith’s story”.

The first Mirror’s Edge game was unlike anything gamers saw before, but now, such parkour gameplay occurs more often, most recently with survival horror game Dying Light. “I talk a lot about cleansing the concept, getting to the core of what Mirror’s Edge is”.

Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will launch February 25th 2016.
