Misha Collins totally fine after Minneapolis assault

Supernatural star Misha Collins has reportedly been attacked and mugged whilst in Minneapolis for a fan convention.

Several hours ago, Collins responded on Twitter to the news and all the well-wishes that have come pouring in. As many have already heard, this weekend was different for the mugging that took place as Collins was leaving a local restaurant, after having dinner.

Collins, 41, didn’t suffer any serious injuries, he Tweeted Saturday night.

For now, let’s just be happy that Collins is doing fine, and that he has such a huge fan following supporting him at every turn.

Collins has not publicly confirmed any of the reports of how he was injured, but he did post the following message for his fans on twitter. “I’m totally fine! Love u guys”.

According to Hollywood Take, Richard Speight Jr – who plays Gabriel on the CW series – made the announcement, which prompted fans to start the trending hashtag #WeLoveYouMisha.

It is said he was missing from a panel event on Saturday, following an alleged incident the night before.

Osric Chau, who has previously appeared on episodes of Supernatural and was not at the convention, also tweeted in support of the actor, suggesting that anyone concerned about Collins vote for his charity, Random Acts, in Microsoft’s Upgrade Your World competition.

The precise details of what exactly happened to Collins are not entirely clear.
