Miss Columbia Tells Steve Harvey To Learn How To Read

All is well that ends well among Miss Colombia, pageant host Steve Harvey, and Miss Philippines.

After all had been said and done, it seemed like the announcement mix-up in the Miss Universe 2015 coronation night was water under the bridge between the two.

Steve Harvey made a massive gaffe while hosting the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant, incorrectly naming Gutierrez as the victor of the crown instead of the first runner-up.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has advised the public that the “stop and go” scheme will be implemented during the homecoming parade of the universe’s most lovely woman, Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach on January 25.

“How do you feel about the way I handled the situation?”

“I want to make sure she’s OK”, the comedian said during the Tuesday episode of his show.

Last December, Harvey crowned Gutierrez as the victor, only to rectify his mistake minutes later and announced that it was Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach who won.

After another apology, Ariadna told the host that he simply needs to “learn how to read cards”. I felt humiliated. ‘Oh my God I’m not Miss Universe, what am I gonna do now?

“I was watching the videos and I could not believe that it happened to me so I need to calm down and to think what I’m going to say and what I’m going to do now”.

On the Oscars controversy over the lack of diversity among the major award nominees, Harvey said, “I respect the boycott”.

Harvey said that he was “ashamed” by the mistake, but also “a little bit angry”.

Gutierrez graciously informed the “Family Feud” host she had no intention of suing him.

“With all the support I’ve got, the hate was pretty intense”, he said. “But seeing the reaction of my countrymen, still proud and cheering me on, I just thought I did not disappoint them, they were happy, and that’s all that matters to me”.
