The beauty pageant host accidentally announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez to be the victor of 2015 and even went on to crown her as Miss Universe.

Truly, renowned host of “The Steve Harvey Show” and “Family Feud” has made his most unforgettable mistake when he announced the wrong victor as the Miss Universe 2015 host. The actual victor was Riza Santos, who found out she won when the pageant director called her two days after the competition.

The biggest blunder took place at the platform of the biggest beauty contest show, Miss Universe. Watson-Watkins also said she believes they will take this moment and all of the publicity that came with it and turn it into a positive.

Donald Trump, who used to own the rights to Miss Universe, tweeted that “this never would have happened” under his watch.

Furthermore, following the announcement, some of the other contestants, including Miss Germany, could be seen comforting Miss Colombia and not congratulating Miss Philippines.

Wurtzbach later said she was happy to win, but confused and concerned for her rival.

Afterward, Harvey tweeted that “I want to apologize emphatically to Miss Philippians and Miss Columbia”.

“Well, I asked, did I make a mistake?”

Miss Colombia was the first runner-up, he said, holding up the card that contained the official results. “Are you going to take the crown from me now?’ And they (said), ‘No, no, you’re really the victor'”.

“Everything happens for a reason, so I’m happy for all what I did for this dream”.

The on-stage slip-up was not the only thing that clouded the pageant. “For me, Miss France was the real victor”. We witnessed that when the wrong victor was initially announced.
