Miss Piggy & Kermit the Frog Break Up
“We will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al”. However, much like the above mentioned couples, they will still work together in the new ABC series, The Muppets.
Apparently even frogs and pigs aren’t safe from this summer of breakups. This is our only comment on this private matter… unless we get the right offer.
While everyone was concerned about Homer and Marge Simpson getting a divorce, a certain other fictional couple was being more discrete about their relationship woes.
Tuesday morning, that all changed when ABC presented its new show The Muppets, a reality-style mockumentary about the behind-the-scenes happenings at Miss Piggy’s new late-night talk show.
“I have no problem working with my ex”, Miss Piggy told the room of reporters. Asked if there was any hope of a reconciliation with Miss Piggy, Kermit said, “I don’t know”.
Muppets fans took to social media on Tuesday to express hopes that Miss Piggy and Kermit may still have a future together. You agree that you are exclusively responsible for your communications and any content you provide.
“There’s no part of me whatsoever that did not want to wait” longer than a few months to make the show, admitted Prady of the quick turnaround.
But with so many questions still up in the air, Kermit then released an official statement on his and Piggy’s relationship on his Twitter account.
Kermit is dating a pig called Denise, who works in the marketing department at ABC, while Piggy plants a lingering kiss on Topher Grace’s lips – in front of her ex.
After actress Emmy Rossum jokingly tweeted a photoshopped picture of her and Kermit together, the famous frog responded, “unfortunately I’m seeing someone else…”
