Missing 2-year-old case still considered search and rescue
The toddler is now listed on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website. A West Tennessee Endangered Child Alert has been issued for the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
Volunteers were told to stay home Tuesday evening as law enforcement continued their search through the night. After a 15 minute press conference, search coordinators continued to stress they believe Noah can be found and rescued.
Law-enforcement officials were renewing their search early Sunday for a 2-year-old boy who disappeared in the Tennessee woods, NBC News reported.
Noah Chamberlin went missing during an afternoon walk in a wooded area in Madison County, Tenn., which is between Memphis and Nashville.
Anyone with any information should call local law enforcement.
The volunteers were being used for the night portion of the search.
“I’d like to try and clear up a few things”, Sheriff Weaver said.
WREG obtained pictures from inside the search site which showed hundreds of people searching the rough terrain for the little boy.
Weaver said officials have interviewed the family many times and have no reason not to believe them.
Noah was reported missing at approximately 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
According to the City of Lebanon’s Emergency Services Unit, three of their officers have been requested to help in the search for 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin.
