Missing Steubenville-Area Girl Found

Police have cancelled the Amber Alert. Anyone with information pertaining to this abduction is encouraged to call the Jefferson County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office at 740-283-8600.

Authorities believed she may have been with Matthew Scott Montgomery, who’s about 30 years old.

Mariska was last seen in Wintersville, Ohio, which is near Steubenville.

Mariska was found safe.

An AMBER Alert was issued at 3 a.m. July 29 for a 7-year-old girl missing from northeast Ohio. “She is 4’2” and approximately 45 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say he’s driving a blue 1998 Ford Mustang with Missouri Registration, license number FK2U3Z.

Mariska is wearing a blue and white tank top, dark blue shorts with light blue polka dots and brown cowboy boots.
