Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation Movie Review
Even the weaker films in this 5-deep franchise have had the undeniable appeal of golden-era Bond coursing through their veins: highly stylized action and pretty gadgets peppered with a sense of humor, or at least a sense of fun; Michigan doesn’t take itself deathly seriously, and Rogue Nation is no exception.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation clip: Shoes shows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) making a daring rooftop escape. When most films rely nearly entirely on computers to generate their special effects, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation makes them all look ridiculous next to practical, in camera stunts and effects. The plot is spy-movie plausible enough and does its job by setting up the impossibly insane action sequences; which writer/director Christopher McQuarrie (who worked with Cruise on Jack Reacher) serves up with wild abandon and fresh, fun energy. Tom Cruise does an unbelievable job reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, who is now hunted by his own country after the International Monetary Fund has been disbanded.

This forces Ethan, Benji (Simon Pegg), William (Jeremy Renner) and Luther (Ving Rhames) to do battle with the Syndicate, a powerful multinational group of ex-operatives, led by Sean Harris.
Speaking to the Evening Standard about the call, Smith said: “I was blown away that he agreed to do this in the first place”. “No matter what you think of his personal life, you have to give it up to him”.
