Missouri Sheriff Declares New Zero Tolerance Policy for Creepy Clowns

Last week, we reported on a Creepy Clown sighting in Palm Bay near Victoria Park.

Police say there have been no arrests for the alleged activity, and police have not spotted any clowns.

The account, which features a clown profile picture and more than 3,100 followers as of Saturday morning, has continued to tweet plans to visit different communities within the county. Some people on Twitter claimed to have witnessed the clowns. A Facebook page appeared September 20 threatening local students with abduction by clown; four people have been arrested in connection with the event. Some even posted about wanting to go “clown hunting”. “But it got me thinking because when we’re driving around working, especially on the weekends, we’re clowns”. “Nobody else said anything and no other incidents of such a person have been reported”.

Officials from Bowling Green, Fostoria, and Toledo Police, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, were not available for comment after calls were made to the agencies late Friday afternoon.
