‘Mob Wives’ Star Drita D’Avanzo Arrested After Alleged NYC Sidewalk Beating

Viewers of Mob Wives won’t be surprised by this news-Drita has made no secret of her violent streak, and was even seen previously on the show choking cast mate Renee Graziano. Apparently, when Drita made a decision to write a book as her way of dealing with her troubled past, it ruffled a few feathers. Drita had left the scene before the police arrived; however, a warrant for her arrest was issued.

During the week that Mob Wives premiered, the second week of January, Carla Facciolo tweeted to Drita, “stop worrying about what Love said to me u should be ashamed of all the things u said about me. No one could tell me what to do”, she told People. Some sites are reporting that the woman who received a beat down, Mary Bratti was a former chef. In the clip, Lee says, ” Hey Dre, I need you to come over here and teach this b**ch a lesson”. Her husband, Lee, was not the only one who had a problem with it; the Mob Wives cast members felt it was wrong for her to put her life on full display by publishing a book.

Cops said that D’Avanzo, 40, punched the other woman a number of times, causing a cut on her lip and swelling to her head.

TMZ reports that Drita was “cited for misdemeanor assault”.

Maybe Lee D’Avanzo, being the supposed mob guy that he is, is used to just taking what he wants and not getting too much flack for it because he is well, an alleged mob guy.

Since the arrest, D’Avanzo has only tweeted, “I will be holding an event at my store next Sat!!!!”
