Mockingjay 2 to Earn $110 Million in US Box Office
The director faced similar questions about continuing the series when “Mockingjay – Part 1” rolled around, and seemed less sure of plans for new films only a year ago.

The film is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong. Mockingjay – Part 1 earned $121.9 million for its opening weekend in U.S. The first film earned $152.5 million, while the second earned $158.1 million.
