Modi can even have me murdered, says Kejriwal
AAP leader Ashutosh on Thursday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi followed on social media those who have given death threats to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders.
Calling the current period “very critical”, Kejriwal told AAP volunteers, MLAs and Delhi Government Ministers that things will get worse in the coming days and exhorted them to “leave” for now if they are not strong enough.
Kejriwal said in the video that PM Modi was running a “daman chakra” against AAP and in this process “he can get all of us killed”.
“Modi is frustrated, he can get me killed”.
Kejriwal’s most direct attack till date – previously he had dubbed PM Modi a “psychopath and a coward” – can be read in multiple ways, but the moot question is this: is it paranoid delusion or very real fears of an unconventional but spotlight-obsessed politician? It is clear now that everyone will have to go to jail many times.
It’s nearly as if Kejriwal is Modi’s ex. JK. “They are capable of doing anything”, said Kejriwal.
Kejriwal said Modi, in his “relentless pursuit” for power, had taken the route of “crushing” his opponents as he and the BJP have “failed” to fulfill a single poll promise, thus angering various sections of the society. Since then Kejriwal and the Lt Governor of Delhi, Najeeb Jung, who takes his orders from the Centre, have constantly butted heads with the chief minister in particular complaining about the fact that he doesn’t have control over Delhi Police, since it reports to the Union Home Ministry.
Reacting to the allegations made by Khan, Bajpai mockingly said, “He has chosen a good season to come up with these baseless charges and I am sure the police will not waste a minute in making yet another arrest”.
The party wants administrative control over Delhi, the Indian capital, but has been enduring a battle by Modi’s Bhartya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government.
Accusing Modi of trying to crush his foes, he said no other party was able to raise its voice against the Modi government. He said the BJP IT Cell members were issuing threat at the behest of the party top brass.
“10 MLAs have been arrested”.
In December past year, Kejriwal called Modi a “psychopath and a coward” when the CBI raided the chief minister’s office to investigate corruption charges against his principal secretary Rajendra Kumar.
