Modi’s Britain visit to focus on bilateral, economic ties
Britain is preparing to roll out the red carpet for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a visit which it is hoped will seal billions of pounds in trade and investment deals.
Commenting over the Vajpayee card of Narandra Modi, Geelani said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee can be a moderate image in the BJP circles but he too is the product of same fascist RSS ideology which is the base of his other colleagues whose only aim is to eliminate the minorities particularly Muslims from India and make it a Hindu Rashtra.
Meanwhile, on the eve of his visit, the government on Tuesday eased foreign investment norms across 15 sectors, including defence and civil aviation, to attract overseas funds and boost economic growth.
Mr. Modi will address the Indian diaspora on November 13 at Wembley Stadium.

Besides discussing strategic matters with Cameron, Modi will have lunch with Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace.
The Prime Minister will interact with CEOs of British companies at a roundtable in London to explore avenues of more effective economic cooperation between the two countries.
Labour’s Ian Austin added: ‘This is completely unacceptable on the British parliament, a symbol of freedom and democracy worldwide’.
“In London, I will pay homage at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, who is a great source of inspiration for the entire world”.
“Prime Minister Cameron is a good friend of India, and we in India have had the privilege of welcoming him thrice during his first term as prime minister”, he noted. He said Jaguar Land Rover was the largest private sector employer.
He also addressed the 1.5-million strong Indian diaspora in Britain which he said has “contributed greatly to society in different walks of life”. “Lakhs of professionals and students are also working and studying in Britain”. One such great leader was Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.

He said the summit was being held at a critical juncture, just after the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals agenda at the United Nations, and just before discussions on climate change at COP-21 in Paris on Nov 30-Dec 1.
