Mojang plans to shut down Scrolls: ‘We appreciate every player who’s

The planned schedule for the event includes a Scrolls tournament with commentary from ex- pro player Blinky.

However, somewhere from within the Microsoft camp the decision was made to cease development for Scrolls, leaving Mojang with one active game, that being Minecraft.

Having revealed past year that Mojang and Telltale Games were working together on a new project called, Minecraft: Story Mode, news on how the video game has been progressing has been hard to come by.

A number of new items will also be included such as new Oak, Spruce, Birch, and Jungle wood types as well as Fences, Gates, and Doors. The idea of not only playing in the game but being able to take the virtual space out of the television and play with it in the real world could make the game even bigger yet. They usually run behind the more frequently updated PC versions of the game.

When Microsoft purchased Minecraft creator Mojang for .5 billion late a year ago, many questioned whether the Redmond-based company overpaid. Both have pushed for greater use of games in lessons, and have also released an educational version of Kerbal Space Program.

Added Custom Superflat User Interface, allowing players to customize superflat world generation. Whether that means Mojang releases the server code so that players can just host their own games, or something else altogether, remains to be seen.

Fixes are nearly the same with PS4 consoles but Xbox 360 update solves a problem with baby villagers’ collision height.

Aside from Minecraft, the only other game Mojang now has in development is the action-platformer Cobalt, which the studio is making in collaboration with fellow Swedish developer Oxeye Game Studio.
