Monday marks global Day of Peace

Ban Ki-moon, secretary general of the United Nations, on this day of peace “calls on the people of the world to reaffirm their commitment to living in harmony as members of a single human family.”.

Each year the global Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21st.
