Monica Michael fails to apologise for gun feedback & MOANS about ‘insensitive
The dopey singer – who was voted off during last night’s live results show – was slammed by viewers after she shouted “bang bang bang” and reportedly made a gun gesture with her hand just days after the Paris attacks. I had to come back strong and the song that I had was my comeback, I was going to rap in it and show the real Monica that people have seen previously.
She explained: “I was really struggling with the covers, I was crying every night because of the stress and wondering how I could make songs my own when I’ve already got my own”.
Although she is obviously gutted to now be out of the competition, Monica did admit that her departure was weirdly bittersweet as she was seriously struggling with the protocol of the show.
“How disgusting and disrespectful of her to go “bang bang bang” silly silly girl!!”
But The X Factor is only the beginning of her musical journey, as she revealed she will be going to America to work on her debut album.
“I love Bruce and I loved the song, but I had to take a little bit of a risk with it and this time the risk didn’t pay off”, he said. “I’m allowed to be as creative as I want”. Stone had been sent home first before Monica after their sing-off, which had left the judges challenged on who to send home.
“I’m such a perfectionist and all week I’d been thinking about where I was going to look and my facial expressions”.
Monica was not the only singer to leave The X Factor on Sunday night.
As for her new set of X Factor friends, although she said she loves them all, she has a special place in her heart for Ché Chesterman, Mason Noise, Reggie “N” Bollie and Louisa Johnson, and hopes one of them will win.
Also leaving tonight (15.11.15) in the double elimination with the least public votes was Max Stone.
