‘Monster Hunter X’ release date and gameplay trailer unveiled
Monster Hunter X has a set release date for Japan and it isn’t too far off. Capcom announced that the title will be released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on November 28, and preorders will open on August 1.
Capcom also teased an original, limited edition 3DS XL for the game (including a copy of the game), for 26,000 yen.
There will be four fighting styles in the game, including the aforementioned aerial one.
Based on the livestream footages compiled by YouTube user Arekkz Gaming, the soon-to-be released “Monster Hunter X” will allow players to utilize four fighting styles using all the 14 weapons that are featured in the game. Although the commentary was in Japanese, you get the main idea of what’s happening in the game. This character was last shown in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
As previously reported, Monster Hunter X features the new Verna Village, but it will also bring back villages from past Monster Hunter titles, including Yukumo Village from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. We have embedded a few of these videos below. Other gamers on the other hand, would still have to wait for announcements for its Western release. According to the game studio, the “X” in “Monster Hunter X” (read as Monster Hunter Cross) symbolizes several elements.
