Montini: One word will make you ashamed for wanting to ban Muslims
Trump’s supporters don’t see his plan to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.as “xenophobic…”
Billy Hindman talks about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at Cannon’s Restaurant in Greer, S.C., Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015.
Condemnation came quickly to Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s call to ban Muslims from entering the United States. “She’s killed hundreds of thousands of people with her stupidity”, Trump said on Fox.
Last year, Trump was threatening to launch a challenge against Cuomo for the governor’s seat, telling the New York Daily News after a meeting with Republicans in his office that he’d seek the state’s top spot if the GOP would give him its full support and rule out having primary elections.
She added, “You know what Trump does? I don’t think a court today would ever hold that constitutional”, Sherry said.
I appreciate brevity. And I admire those who can make a point and prove an undeniable truth with clarity and grace. I read such a thing recently by Rick Ungar, a contributor to Forbes. “What are you going to do about college debt?”‘ Ohio’s governor said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation”.
Trump’s call to bar Muslims from coming to America is “awesome”.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Christie said, hurt the country by voting against extending the National Security Agency’s bulk collection program of phone records, which ended days before the shooting in California.
“How can we let these people in our country until we vet them properly?”
“He’s always one step ahead of all the other politicians in pointing out a problem”. “And everybody’s outraged. And then all of a sudden they start analyzing what he said and realize, ‘Oh my god, he’s right'”.
A recent poll from NBC and the Wall Street Journal shows Trump leading in the race for the Republican presidential nomination with 27 percent of the vote.
Many on the right condemned the idea; however, aside from a couple comments, the majority of candidates were hesitant to attack Trump.
While Trump has brushed back criticism, including from some Republicans, that his idea smacks of bigotry, some of his backers take that charge personally.
Furthermore, most American Muslims enjoy a higher standard of living than the norm, with 66% earning more than the United States $50K median household average yearly income. “But there’s certainly a better way to say it”.
And, they say, they marvel at how naïve all the critics sound. And Trump himself has even suggested his proposed ban was meant to stir up reaction. To qualify for this debate, candidates had to have a polling average of 3.5 percent nationally or 4 percent in the early states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
