Moore to Trump: ‘We are all Muslims’
Only he put it in all caps, the figurative equivalent of shouting.
Tonight’s GOP debate will probably be the last time that we will be seeing Rick Santorum in the GOP presidential.
To Hooker and the dozens of Trump supporters interviewed in the past week by The Associated Press in the first-to-vote states of Iowa, New Hampshire and SC, the near universal condemnation of the billionaire’s plan is simply baffling. Now comes Moore, with the similarly pithy, and ridiculous, plea for tolerance.
Michael Moore – born in MI in 1954 – is known for his documentary films that criticised U.S. gun laws, globalisation, the Iraq war and the USA healthcare system. “He would not be the commander-in-chief we need to keep our country safe”, he declared. In other words, not you. His logic being: So what’s there to fight about? There is really no reason to think that Mr. Trump isn’t doing exactly the opposite: saying what will appeal to voters, not what he really thinks. That would seem a message they need to read, particularly before the next bombing, or the planning for the next bombing.
However, the Trump Organization later issued the following statement to Associated Press: “The exterior signage at Trump International Golf Club, Dubai was temporarily removed on Tuesday for a short period of time, however… the signage is back up and fully intact”.
The Portland City Council planned to pass an anti-Donald Trump resolution, but has changed it on the advice of the Secretary of State’s Office.
She noted that Trump’s comments were “full of hatred” and that blaming Muslims for terrorism would only “radicalize more terrorists”, as stated by the source.
“I think it was nonsense to say there are parts of the United Kingdom where the British police do not feel able to go or not willing to go”.
Near the end of Trump’s remarks, Hough stood up and started chanting after the candidate was asked a question about closing the camp for detainees in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. You’re not so tough, Donny …
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment, and the candidate has not tweeted about Moore or the incident at Trump Tower. We are not all Muslim. We say we believe in the American Dream. Why can’t leftists understand that key point?
“I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or color”, he added.
What is that – is that supposed to be a threat? While 58 percent of Americans oppose a temporary ban on Muslim visitors in a CBS News poll, Trump’s proposal finds much more favorable reaction from Republicans.
