Moorhead to collect Christmas trees curbside first two weeks of January
The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority encourages all to contribute to a clean environment by containing all garbage until the scheduled collection day for their respective communities. Garbage will be collected as usual on New Year’s Day.
The Christmas holidays this week mean garbage collection delays in the greater Racine area and some government office closures as well. On those days, once your garbage can is full, you may place any excess garbage in bags on the ground at least four feet away from the garbage can.
” There is no specific collection schedule for natural Christmas trees”.
Each tree placed for pickup after January 15 will replace one bag of trash in the normal six-bag limit. Plastic bags, tree stands, ornaments and all metal should be removed as these items will damage the chipper.
