Morata quick to thank Juve
The Spain striker is heading back to Real Madrid after they exercised the €30million release clause with his club Juventus, but the striker’s future is still up in the air with Real expected to sell the player on at a figure close to €60million.
The 23-year-old, who is now on global duty with Spain, posted a message on his official website and social media accounts thanking the Italian club for his two seasons in Serie A.
He said: “Hello everyone”.
‘Hello everyone. Writing this letter isn’t easy for me. First and foremost, I want to thank all the people who believed in me, who have called on me and treated me very well so I was happy at Juventus and Torino.
“Thanks to president Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved, John Elkann, Giuseppe Marotta, Matteo Fabris and, above all, Fabio Paratici and Javier Ribalta”. Storekeepers, physiotherapists, doctors, the security team, chefs. In brief, thanks to all who are part of Juve.
Thanks of course to all Juventus fans around the world for the great support and the unconditional affection that they have never made me miss.
Alvaro Morata has bid an emotional farewell to Juventus, saying he will always be a supporter of the Italian club as he makes his Real Madrid return.
I remain marked by this club. As things stand he is a Madrid player from July 1.
Thanks again to everyone for allowing me to be part of this family.
“Our work is like this, people come and people go”, Zaza wrote on Instagram. Whether he will stay or not, you have to ask Real Madrid. Alvaro, with you it was like this: a team-mate and friend. “That is why, among so many farewells, this is so hard to say”. I wish you the best Alvaro because you deserve it, maybe starting Tuesday!’
