Morena Baccarin Wins Custody Battle with Ex Austin Chick

Prior to their work together in Gotham, Baccarin also had a three-episode arc on McKenzie’s classic Fox series The OC as socialite Maya Griffin. It was then confirmed after Baccarin and McKenzie posed together at the FOX Emmys after-party last weekend (see photo right).

Anyway, let’s put the drama aside for a moment and offer our congrats to Morena and Ben!

TMZ have obtained court documents in her divorce case with her ex Austin Chick.

She was married to her husband for nearly four years until he filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

The 36-year-old actress will be allowed to bring her son Julius, 23 months, to New York City and live mainly there.

Baccarin joined Gotham in late 2014 and her character, Dr. Leslie Thompkins, became romantically involved with McKenzie’s Jim Gordon at the end of the show’s first season.

While this will be McKenzie’s first child, it is Baccarin’s second.

McKenzie has been open in the past about how much he hates having relationships that play out in the tabloids.

Previously, the Brazilian actress played the alluring escort Inara Serra in cult hit Firefly and earned an Emmy nomination as Damian Lewis’s long-suffering wife in Homeland.
