Mostly sunny and chilly for Thanksgiving Day
Cold and calm conditions are in place this morning.
On Monday we will begin to warm back to the mid-70s across the Big Country, which is above normal for this time of year.
Daytime highs will continue their up and down pattern this week. Winds will be light out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour and will just be able to keep the temperatures from falling anymore.
TONIGHT: We will be partly cloudy to mostly clear tonight. Overnight lows will fall into the neighborhood of 40. By afternoon temperatures will rise into the low 40s. A warming trend then kicks in for Monday afternoon through Wednesday.
WEEKEND: A cold front will dive in over the Northeast Plains late Friday into Saturday, cooling temperatures to start the weekend.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 61. High: Low-mid 50s.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures develop for Saturday, with a high temperature of 58 degrees.
Heading into the holiday shopping weekend: Friday looks sunny but cold for morning doorbusters. Sunday will be slightly cooler, but sunny. We might see a rain or snow shower across the Poconos but it should just be conversational in nature. Plenty of sunshine and a gusty southwest breeze will send temperatures into the upper 40s by mid-afternoon.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 61. Highs will climb back to around 75.
