Temperatures crashed on Thursday in the wake of a cold front. In Pine Bluff, 29 degrees is the expected low for both nights.
There is a 70 percent chance of snow Tuesday night with new accumulation of about 2 inches possible.
While most zoo visitors did not have to go far to enjoy the weather, others had to travel in order to experience the area’s first seasonal snowfall. The snow may have a little trouble accumulating early on in the storm, since the air and ground temperatures will be a little too warm.
