Moto G (2015) hits Motorola’s site early revealing numerous options
It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC (with Adreno 306) with 1GB of RAM.
The best aspect of the new Moto G might be the display, though, which reportedly clocks in at 5.0-inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
One leak purports to show a beefed-up take on the Moto X, with a screen coming in at 5.5-inches.
There’s one detail that we can spot, however, and that’s a front-facing flash.
Motorola has been no new player and has been a company which is as old as the mobile phones are.
The key difference between Moto G (2015) will be ROM and RAM. While nothing has yet been confirmed, it’s generally believed that Motorola will unveil a new Moto 360 smartwatch and a new handset or two. The latest comes in the form of a price card that hints at an “all day battery life” on the Moto G (2015), while also reiterating its water resistant capabilities. But all will be known by next week, July 28, when the big Motorola announcements will be made. However, after what we’ve seen and heard this week it looks and sounds like the rumors had it backwards. Here we get another picture of the front, as well as a clear view of the new Moto X’s back.
Depending on how much weight you put behind it, these might be some of the first samples of the rear camera for the Moto X 2015. The handset is expected to come with 8GB of internal storage, and sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash lights, along with a 5-megapixel front camera. That’s still plenty powerful for most smartphone tasks. We could see even further discounts though, once the Moto X 2015 is announced next week.
