Keep in mind that the update will be pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so it might take a few days to reach all DROID Turbo devices.
The unlocked and Verizon versions of the 2nd-generation Moto X have already started receiving their Android 5.1 updates. We have started the DROID Turbo soak test for the Android 5.1 upgrade this evening with our forum registered users.
Also, the update features a battery saver mode that automatically reduces the device’s background operations to conserve power.
There are a lot more new features and improvements included in Android 5.1 Lollipop for DROID Turbo, so you might want to check out the full changelog published by Motorola. Of course, they can manually check for its availability through the Settings menu.
This afternoon several Android devices will see an update to the next-to-newest version of the software, Lollipop.

One being a smaller device with the same 5.2-inch screen as previous year, and another bigger flagship phone to complete with the Galaxy Note 5, LG G4, and other larger “phablets”. Its features include a 4.5-inch 720p HD display and quad-core processing at an affordable price below $200. The SoC on the Droid Turbo is supported by 3 GB of RAM. Internal storage will only have one option – 8 GB, but will be expandable via a microSD slot. The images also show what seems to be a metal or plastic strip connecting the camera, flash and the famous Motorola logo together.
