Moto G unboxing: The affordable king is better still
The new Moto G 3 Gen 2015 Edition has just been released along with two variants of its flagship, the Moto X Play and Moto X Style.
The new Moto G is now available in Canada. The handset is now offered by Motorola, Best Buy and Amazon. All in all, it seems that Motorola’s latest smartphones are quite attractive – at least to our readers. The Moto G 2015 sports a 13 MP camera with an image sensor, which is also used in the Nexus 6 and it features the 5-inch 720 display, similar to the 2014 model, reports Computerworld.
Motorola has equipped these devices with 64bit Qualcomm chipsets, but the Moto X Style has better specs.
1273 votes (1273 votes) Yes 33.11%. However unlike the Moto G 3 gen it’s not customisable, with the whole phone coming in just black or white, so it’s far less distinctive.
In no time at all, the Moto G has gone on to become Motorola’s most successful smartphone ever.
The third generation Moto G featuring 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM will be available at US $180 (247 AUD).

Although the general shape and look of the phones will largely be the same, the camera and Moto “dimple” housing on the back will be changed. However, no matter how the Moto G looks though, unlike its counterpart, it is not dust proof, as reported by ChristianPost, Aside from the quad-core CPU, it also comes with a microSD card slot which will allow its user to extend the phone’s memory.
Motorola has also introduced the Moto X Style, which features a larger 5.7-inch version. The camera is the biggest improvement that offers 13MP camera. This thing is also water resistant, too, adding yet another reason to make this your next phone.
The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen comes packed with a 2,470mAh Li-Polymer battery, which might not be able to deliver sufficient power backup to users.
We’ve been reviewing a Moto G with a blue rear shell and lemon lime accents, a model that won’t be to everybody’s taste, ours included. According to a report on Tech 2, the 16 GB version of OnePlus 2 will be available at a price tag of around US $359 (494 AUD), the 64 GB version has been priced at around US $390 (536 AUD). But with all the upgrades it more than justifies the price hike.
