Moto G5 smartphone launched, priced at INR 11999
I got my hands for a quick look at the smartphone and here is what I think about the smartphone. The design is actually identical but there are a few differences. It sports a 5 Inch full HD display. Ltd India in a press statement, had said, “The Moto G5 is a ideal blend of performance and entertainment so customers don’t have to compromise on either”. Reports have also hinted at a cheaper Moto X variant that will carry 12 MP sensor for its rear camera. A microUSB port and 3.5mm headphone jack adorn the bottom.
The smartphone, according to a report published by Gizbot, is also expected to pack a dual-camera setup. The more mAh for the G5 Plus is justified because of the bigger screen although we feel that number should have been bigger.
It’s not a bad photo at all; it’s just not what I was expecting after viewing it on the phone’s display. The offers are valid for April 5 and April 6, the company said. One thing, the back panel of the Moto G5 is removable in nature, which is not the case with the Moto G5 Plus.
Unlike the Moto Z, the G5 Plus still has a headphone jack. The Moto X (2017) is rumored to carry a Snapdragon 625 SoC under the hood, with 3GB/4GB of RAM inside. This smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor running at 1.4GHz, while the Adreno 505 GPU also comes with this processor, and is in charged of graphics processing. The Moto G5 has an internal memory of 16GB and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The display for the Moto X 2017 is rumored to be an IPS LCD touchscreen with 16 million colors.
Low-priced smartphones have become more affordable and more capable over the past few years. The phone maker has tied up exclusively with Amazon for the sale of Moto G5, starting midnight tonight.
The primary camera is also different. Moto G5 features a 13MP rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 1.1µm pixels, an aperture of f/2.0 and a LED flash. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie camera. For now it is best to take the latest reports with a tiny pinch of salt.
There’s only one victor in this area, and that’s the Redmi Note 4 with its massive 4,100mAh battery. Apart from the fingerprint sensor, Moto G5 features various sensor options such as an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass are also included in the handset along with the all the modern day connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and micro USB port. With a price tag of Rs 11,999, it’s not heavy on your wallets either. Now the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime comes with similar set of features at Rs 9,000.
