Motorola Moto G (2014) Now Costs $157 In India
Both the Moto E’s US and Global GSM versions are now selling for $89.99, which is cheaper by $30 than the original price. But if the specs are accurate, the device offers very little extra over the current Moto X.
On the back, the phone has been confirmed to pack a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus and video recording.
Motorola Moto X (3rd Gen) provide the support for multi-touch and the screen comes with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. That works out to the equivalent of a $47.27 United States dollars discount on the phone, bringing the handset’s new price to $157.54.
The Moto G would be available at a cost of 9999.The prices have been slashed for 1000 Rs since the price was reduced past year to 10999.The phone was launched in last September at a price of 12999. Could this be a more mid-market device from Motorola? It is common practice among mobile manufacturers to slice prices ahead of a new device release.
The source claims that there will be a 16-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfies snapper on the front.
It is said to feature a 5.2-inch screen like the current-generation Moto X and run off a 1.5GHz processor. It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is expected that the upcoming device will come with a 3.5mm headset jack and a micro USB port, according to Latino Post. The main difference will be the rugged features of the Moto X Sport.
Leaks drifting from Chile suggest that Motorola is readying the ruggedized Moto X Sport for launch, while the new Moto G 2015 should also appear next month. Plus, the skin used by Motorola was one of the lightest on top of Android, so it is almost a Nexus-like experience. Motorola’s older flagship the Moto X recently got updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is proof enough that the company cares about its older handsets as well.
