Motorola Sneaks an Updated Version of its BT Hint Headset Into Stores
Motorola has an event coming up on July 28, but ahead of that it has already released an update to its Moto Hint headset. The Moto Hint allows you to wirelessly connect with your Bluetooth enabled smartphone. One would think then that Motorola would be chomping at the bit to improve the device and get its second generation out in the market as quickly as possible.
The new Moto Hint apparently packs an upgraded battery with 70 percent better battery life. The original model would last a little over three hours on a charge, and featured a minimalist, discreet design that eschewed the common – and some would say, garish – design of most Bluetooth earpieces.
There’s doubtlessly more room for improvement; the original Moto Hint’s subpar software and its best features were limited specifically to Motorola phones, and that could still be the case here as well. It also comes with CrystalTalk noise- and wind-cancelling technologies.
But probably the 2nd best news (first is of course improved quality) about the device is that it is cheaper than the previous model, at $129.99, down from $149.99. And while talk time has been increased, the new Hint’s price tag has actually been dropped to $130. For now, the Moto Hint is available exclusively on Best Buy, through their website and physical stores.
