Motorola is all set launch an improved variant of Moto G in India called Motorola Moto G Turbo. Like the Moto X Turbo edition, this one also supports fast charging with the Motorola Turbo charging feature. As the teaser image reveals that “3 days to go”, this stated that the Moto G Turbo Edition smartphone would make its way to India on December 10. It has also has water resistance in place, so the phone can survive within 3 feet of water immersion.
Other specs include 13MP rear and 5MP front camera, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, IP67 certification, and dual-SIM support. Now, the company has made an announcement to launch Motorola Moto G smartphone in India.
Another strong point of the mid-range smartphone is the 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, and full HD (1080p) video recording.
The phone comes equipped with a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage can be expanded further using a micro SD card. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It packs a 2,470 mAh Battery.
The Moto G Turbo Edition was launched in Mexico at a price of $283 which is approximately Rs 18,600. Motorola certainly needs to get its pricing right for the India launch as the current generation Moto G3 (2015) is priced at Rs 12,999, while on the higher end we have the Moto X Play priced at Rs 19,999 that offers a lot more in terms of hardware.
