Mourinho signs new Chelsea deal
Come on I may be biased, but I can not help but think that Arsenal have had the way better form for the whole of 2015, and there is no reason to think that we are going to regress when the season starts properly.
“Sometimes because he has a good little burst he uses that very well to get out, but sometimes it is a game that provokes more challenges than maybe Gilberto Silva, who just sat there deep, or Mesut Ozil, who plays less dribbling”.
In January, Chelsea ran the show and rampantly beat Swansea 5-0, their best performance of the season. Oscar opened the scoring after just a minute because of Chelsea’s fantastic high press.
Manchester United, who host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, have spent in the region of 70 million on four players, while Liverpool, whose campaign begins at Stoke City on Sunday, have forked out almost 80 million, principally on Christian Benteke from Aston Villa and Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim. His third Premier League crown last term was Chelsea’s first championship in five years, since 2009/10.
There’s a couple of lower-profile signings who have the potential to really make an impact this year, although much will depend on how quickly they adapt to the rigours of the Premier League.
– Chelsea were crowned league champions on May 3 after beating Crystal Palace with three games to spare.
The Portuguese’s new contract will keep the 52-year-old at the club until 2019 and Mourinho spoke of his happiness at signing a new deal with the west London side.
