Moves Like Baba: Ramdev Kicks-Off a Match With Bollywood Celebs

Ramdev performed his cameo in his typical saffron dhoti and boots of the same colour.

An entertaining and starry match of football ensued for Delhiites on Sunday evening, where Members of Parliament clashed with Bollywood stars.

The parliamentarians played under the captaincy of Babul Supriyo, minister of state for heavy industries.

“I played for the opponent team before”. BJP leader Manoj Tiwari was also there on the field.

Though Baba Ramdev tried very hard to show his skills on the football ground, his saffron-clad pictures, trying to kick the football with myriad amusing expressions were a complete delight for many including Kapoor. He finally did get a touch of the ball from one of the corner posts.

“India has been a victor in all sorts of games other than football”.

The event was organised by Adhunik, a private art gallery and the amount earned from the match tickets were donated to the two campaigns. The Yoga teacher, also known for being an active part of Indian politics never fails to express his opinions on public issues and is often known to participate in a number of activities trending in the society.

No doubt Baba was enjoying the game and was happy playing football. Baba Ramdev never leaves a stone unturned to make his presence felt at the various occasions he is present at.

Looking characteristically striking in his orange robes and matching-coloured shoes, Ramdev showed-off some really cool kicks (like literally) and made the youngsters run around on the field a bit.
