The wins mark two consecutive awards in each category for Amazon, following Transparent’s Best Comedy win and Jeffrey Tambor being named Best Actor in a TV Comedy a year ago. In Supporting categories on the other hand, the Globes are much better at picking men than women – getting Best Supporting Actor right 72% of the time, but only correctly predicting Supporting Actress 60%!
Kate Winslet took home the award as best supporting movie actress for playing the long-suffering assistant to the Apple co-founder in “Steve Jobs”.
