Multiple Drugs Killed Scott Weiland According To Toxicology Report
Weiland was found dead on the tour bus for his band Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts in Minnesota on December 3.
The report states that Weiland’s death was at 8:27 pm and that the death was accidental.
In addition to the lethal mix of drugs listed in Weiland’s autopsy report, the Hennepin County Coroner also noted that he suffered from “asthma, cardiovascular disease, as well as a multi-substance dependence”. “Manner of death is accident”.
Bloomington cops officers stated at the time in that that they had recovered a little quantity of cocaine from the band’s tour bus, where he was found lifeless. “Cocaine, ethanol and Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA)”.
Along with other bands led by Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots in the early 1990s helped create the genre of grunge rock that is known for distorted guitar and often grim introspection. “What they truly lost on December 3rd was hope”. The debut album, “Contraband”, sold more than 3 million copies and yielded a massive hit, “Slither”, and another Grammy for Weiland.
The band broke up in 2003 and Weiland went on to front Velvet Revolver, the supergroup that featured former members of Guns N’ Roses, including Slash and bassist Duff McKagan.
Weiland had a history of drug addiction. He also pleaded guilty to felony heroin possession in 1998.
