Mum And Son Shot In Doorway Of Salford Home
29-year-old Jayne was shot in both legs in what police described as a tit-for-tat gangland shooting at their home on Gillingham Road, Winton, Eccles.
The first offender is described as white, between 19 and 20-years-old, of “chunky” build and was wearing a baseball cap.

Yesterday afternoon, a man was taken to hospital after being shot in the stomach in Cannon Street.
Police said the incident is linked to a year-long feud between gangs in Salford and Swinton, which has intensified since the death of Salford crime boss Paul Massey in July.
At this stage, it is not yet known if the shooting of the mother and son is linked to the other incidents which have taken place over the past few days in the Salford and Bolton areas. But what I can say is that it’s got all the hallmarks of a feud over disrespect.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but it is the fifth shooting incident in less than a week – three of those shootings happened in 24 hours.
The woman received two gunshot wounds to her leg, while the boy sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
Massey, 55, a well-known figure in the criminal underworld in Greater Manchester, was shot dead outside his home in a targeted attack.
Another property in Salford was also fired on.
Detectives have now offered a £50,000 reward in the case in a bid to find his killer.

Greater Manchester Police is linking the two incidents to another shooting, according to the MEN.
Ian Stewart, mayor of Salford, said: “Someone out there knows who carried this sickening crime out, and we and police need to know”.
In Little Hulton, a Salford suburb at the centre of a separate gangland feud, seven men were arrested and a large stash of drugs seized on Tuesday morning.
“It will not be tolerated and Salford council fully supports Greater Manchester Police in trying to bring these people to justice”.
